We went to London over half term to visit the museums and Buckingham palace.

Basically, it’s a lot of old computers (science museum) and a lot of old dinosaurs (natural history museum).

Today Isaac saw the logo for the Liberal Democrats in the newspaper. He looked at the golden flaming wings and asked “Daddy, is that the Holy Spirit?”

Isaac has produced a report on a television programme that he saw earlier today. One of the earliest Industrial Revolution factories was excavated on Time Team. Listen to Isaac’s report.

Teresa: How do you feel when you get told off Isaac?
Isaac: My brain talks, but my heart thinks of chocolate.
Mummy: (when asked about whether friends can come over to tea) I’ll have to check my calendar.
Isaac: Will our friends pop-out of the calendar then? (similar to an Advent calendar.)
Joe: Mummy, the lovelier you are, the more I love you in hundreds.
Joe: I scream for Ice scream!

Today the boys had lunch with Roy Hudd to receive their holiday prize from Yours magazine.
Roy was very funny and was good with the boys. There are some pics to look at, if you’re interested (password required).
The boys have appeared in the local paper detailing their latest success in the Funniest Grandchildren competition.
Joe and Isaac are finalists in the Britain’s funniest grandchildren competition. We had a photographer call round to do a piece in July’s edition of Yours magazine.
Yesterday I attended the launch of a report at the House of Lords which advocated the provision of the Internet for prisoners.
